The City of St. Augustine accepted the donation of the building site for the proposed St. Augustine Yacht Club Sailing Center in 2022. SAYCSC had a Groundbreaking Ceremony on January 21st, 2023 and construction began. Currently, our new dock has been built and we have been running our programs off of it since June 2025. The bulkhead construction has been completed, as well as the dried-in building! We are nearing completion and almost at the finish line. To see the latest construction updates, click here.

The St. Augustine Yacht Club Sailing Center's mission is to inspire a lifelong love of sailing by providing a safe, fun, and welcoming environment.
Through dynamic learn to sail options, competitive race teams, and impactful community outreach partnerships, we empower youth to grow in confidence and develop valuable life skills. We are committed to making the sport of sailing accessible and inclusive for all — fostering future leaders both on the water and within our community.
