The Saint Augustine Sailing Sisters (SASS) in conjunction with the SAYC Sailing Center are proud to present a Women’s race for one design dinghy fleets featuring all female helmspersons and encouraging all female crews.

The SASS Bikini Race will be held on Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

Schedule of Events:

• Friday August 4, 2023 1700 - Launch Party - Upstairs at Meehan's Irish Pub - All are welcome dine, drink, raffles - don't miss this really fun event to kick-off the weekend!
• Saturday August 5, 2023 1000 - Skipper's Meeting - St. Augustine Yacht Club - One Design and PHRF Fleets.
• Saturday August 5, 2023 1155 - One Design first Warning Signal (7 races scheduled)
• Saturday August 5, 2023 1255 - PHRF first Warning Signal
• Saturday August 5, 2023 1700 - Dinner and awards at St. Augustine Yacht Club

All details can be found in the Notice of Race 2023 SASS Bikini Race NOR. Currently, there are two fleets open for registration, 420 and Sunfish. 420s can be chartered for a $50 fee. Races will be held in Salt Run with more information TBA.

If you wish to participate in a different fleet (ILCA, etc.), in compliance with the NORs we will add, please email the Sailing Director.
