SAYC Sailing Center After School Programs
What better after school activity is there other than time outdoors and on the water? At SAYCSC, we specialize in youth sailing education and employ US Sailing certified instructors to lead all our on-water programs. Come join us for the "BEST MONDAYS EVER"!
For those who are new to sailing, or just want to have fun sailing in the afternoons, we have the following program options:
RB Hunt After School Program: 2:45pm - 6:30pm- This program is specifically for RB Hunt students in grades 3-5 only. No experience required. If you are not a student at RB Hunt, or not in grades 3-5, please register for the Adventure Sailing or Little Skippers after school programs. Students will enjoy an array of water adventures each session: sailing on Hobie Wave, Hobie Getaway, and Flying Scot sailboats, as well as paddling on kayaks and paddleboards, and take powerboat adventures to local hidden mudflats, islands, and beaches only accessible by water.
Adventure Sailing After School Program: 4:30pm - 7:30pm - Adventure Sailing is designed for those with or without sailing experience, ages 8-12. If your child is not within those age ranges but would like to be a participant, please email us. Students will enjoy an array of water adventures each session: sailing on Hobie Wave, Hobie Getaway, and Flying Scot sailboats, as well as paddling on kayaks and paddleboards, and take powerboat adventures to local hidden mudflats, islands, and beaches only accessible by water.
Little Skippers After School Program: 3:30pm - 6:30pm - Little Skippers is for children aged 6 -7 only. No experience required. Students will enjoy an array of water adventures each session: sailing on Hobie Wave, Hobie Getaway, and Flying Scot sailboats, as well as paddling on kayaks and paddleboards, and take powerboat adventures to local hidden mudflats, islands, and beaches only accessible by water.
We offer both FALL and SPRING after school sailing. All programs are comprised of two, 4-week sessions. Participants register for one session at a time, dates below:
