SAYC Sailing Center After School Programs
What better after school activity is there other than time outdoors and on the water? At SAYCSC, we specialize in youth sailing education and employ US Sailing certified instructors to lead all our on-water programs. Come join us for the "BEST MONDAYS EVER"!
For those who are new to sailing, or just want to have fun sailing in the afternoons, we have the following program options:
RB Hunt After School Program: 2:45pm - 6:30pm- This program is specifically for RB Hunt students. We offer two RB Hunt groups: 1st and 2nd graders, and 3rd-5th graders. No sailing experience required. If you are not a student at RB Hunt, please register for the Adventure Sailing or Little Skippers after school programs. *Participants are walked from RB Hunt to SAYC each day. Parent pick up at SAYC 6:30pm.
Adventure Sailing After School Program: 4:30pm - 7:30pm - Adventure Sailing is designed for those with or without sailing experience, ages 8-12. If your child is not within those age ranges but would like to be a participant, please email us.
Little Skippers After School Program: 3:30pm - 6:30pm - Little Skippers is for children aged 6 -7 only. No experience required.
Students in these groups will enjoy an array of water adventures each session: sailing on Hobie Wave and Flying Scot sailboats, paddling on kayaks and paddleboards, powerboat adventures to local hidden mudflats, islands, and beaches only accessible by water. *Participants are dropped off and picked up at SAYC each day.
We offer both fall and spring after school sailing. All groups are limited to 6 sailors. All programs are comprised of two, 4-week sessions. Participants register for one session at a time, dates below:

RB HUNT LITTLE SKIPPERS ADVENTURE

NEW THIS SPRING! We are offering a six-week Opti Learn to Sail Program - April 13th, 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th, 18th
Participants register for the full six-week program and have a dedicated coach, for ages 8-12 only. Your child will learn to sail their own boat and by the end of the six-week program will be ready for the Opti 2 summer camp option. This is a great opportunity for those interested in our Race Team program and year-round sailing! More information and registration link above. Instruction solely in the Opti SailCube pictured below:
